SOUS CHEF-SUPERB SOUTH SIDE BISTRO 35-40K
We are seeking a creative Sous Chef for a funky bistro
establishment in south Dublin.
This restaurant l is synonymous in the local area for the
quality of its food; it’s a real gourmet paradise where they
have a very successful rustic/classical style operation serving
food all day from Lunch & Dinner. The kitchen is fully
staffed and they are now seeking a creative chef that can excel
the further to stardom, support the Head Chef and manage the
day to day operations in the kitchen in their absence.
They are now seeking to strengthen the kitchen brigade and are
seeking a Sous chef that is interested in an establishment that
is focussed, driven, imaginative and creative. They always push
the boundaries with their menus & daily specials that
compliment their a la carte menu.
This is a busy establishment that serves quality food all day.
We are seeking an all rounder that has experience preferably in
restaurants of similar pedigree that are recognised with
excellent standards and creativity. This is all fresh kitchen
and the Head Chef loves chefs with great ideas and new recipes
to try out.
Prerequisites for this role Include:
” Previous Sous Chef Experience in a similar standard
” Must have a mix of Bistro/Brasserie/Restaurant exp.
” Can help develop and introduce new ideas and recipe’s
” Has flair and imagination
” Can work well under pressure with a calm temperament
” Can train and upskill the current kitchen brigade
” Has good portion and cost control
” Fully aware and compliant in Food Safety and HACCP Food
” Can deputise for the Head Chef in their days off-strong
Kitchen Management Exp.
” Can work a rota of 5/7 days per week
This is an all year round position paying a fantastic salary
plus incentives to a suitable candidate.
Trial period will take place. Salary 35-40K DOE
